SAMSUNG X820: THE WORLD SLIMMEST CELLPHONE
Introducing the world slimmest cellphone from Samsung, the Samsung X820. With only 6.9 mm thickness, this is definitely the world slimmest cellphone. On May 2006, Samsung introduce its ultra design cellphone series. One among the ultra design series is the Samsung X820. The overall size is 113 x 50 x 6.9 mm, with only 66g in weight. Very thin and very light cellphone indeed.
Like an old saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover”, you shouldn’t underestimate the Samsung X820. Although the size is very thin, this cellphone is loaded with top features that you may not found in other similar cellphone. The Samsung X820 is already equipped with a 2MP camera (1600x1200 pixels). The TFT screen can display 256K colors. It also has 80 MB internal shared memory. But it doesn’t support external memory. Since the size is very thin, it can’t support any port for external memory. 80 MB internal memory is quite big if you don’t have any large size data to be saved. The X820 can save up to 1000 phonebook.
Samsung X820 works in triband network (GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900). If you need to connect to the internet, you can use the GPRS class 10 in X820. This cellphone already support EDGE, but not 3G. For your convenient in transferring data, you can use Bluetooth or USB port.
Other feature that you’ll find in the X820 is MP3/AAC/AAC+ player. It also has TV-output so you can show your cellphone content on your television. This is a great cellphone for the price of US$238-283. You should consider this cellphone if you’re looking for one.
